Our lawful bases for the collection and use of your data
Our lawful bases for collecting or using personal information to provide services and goods are:
- Contract – we have to collect or use the information so we can enter into or carry out a contract with you. All of your data protection rights may apply except the right to object.
- Legitimate interests – we’re collecting or using your information because it benefits you, our organisation or someone else, without causing an undue risk of harm to anyone. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to portability. Our legitimate interests are:
- Wellies & Walkies require personal information in order to provide the service the client has requested e.g. to enter their home to collect/walk/care for their pet(s)/homes.
- Wellies & Walkies require client addresses in order to know which property we need to visit.
- Wellies & Walkies require the client’s personal information to draw up a legal contract to protect both the client and the business.
- Wellies & Walkies require personal information such as contact information in order to contact the client in relation to the services e.g. about the pet(s).
- Wellies & Walkies require personal health information such as allergies of the client or other people in the home to ensure Wellies & Walkies do not bring any allergen into the clients home, and therefore avoid causing any allergic reaction to the client or a family member.

Wellies & Walkies will only store your personal information for as long as absolutely necessary in order for us to provide the service requested by you.
Upon termination of the contract all personal information will be securely destroyed and deleted.
